How to create courses/batches on MeritHub?

MeritHub Courses allows you to bring all your learning tools together and manage multiple classes/groups at one central destination. It is a complete replacement of the Learning Management System. You can categorize students in multiple courses and batches and perform various learning and teaching activities. In courses, you can share content, live classes, assignments/homework, quizzes and allow students to have peer-to-peer discussions too.

For example, you can create a course for “Grade 12 - Math” and under that, you can create different batches like “Grade 12 - Math: Section A”, and “Grade 12 - Math: Section B

To create courses/batches in MeritHub please follow the below-mentioned steps:

  1. Select the courses/batches option on the homepage of the particular organization.

  1. In order to create a new course select the plus icon at the bottom right corner of the window.

  1. Enter an appropriate course title and click on publish option to create a new course or you can save it as a draft.

  1. The instructor can also add a brief summary of the course in the “About Course” section in order to let the learners know what the course is all about. Apart from this highlights and description can also be added after making all the changes click on the update button to make sure that the changes have been saved successfully.

  1. Default batch will already be available in the course however in order to create a new batch click on the round blue button in the bottom right corner,add an appropriate batch title. Contents of the other batches can also be imported into this new batch by selecting a batch under the import content option. Click on the ‘Save’ option to add the batch.

After creating a course you can upload the course content and invite your learners.
