So in order to attract students to online teaching, one should keep the following points in mind:

1. Include quizzes and rewards

Teaching a topic is generally easy but keeping the concept in mind is generally difficult for most students because without practicing questions on topics students generally find the concept difficult to understand.

In online teaching, we should try to conduct various levels of quizzes after completion of certain topics so that students could get to know how much they have gained information about that topic.

It has always been seen that conducting quizzes and tests and rewarding the toppers generally create a healthy competitive environment among students.

Rewarding top performers of tests usually boost the confidence of students and increase their hunger to perform at their best.

2. keeping short and simple content

Whether it be in a positive or negative way. People on average have an attention span of 8 seconds. Meaning that the content, whether it is videos or memes, has roughly 8 seconds to affect our audience.

In online teaching, one should try to focus more on important topics rather than making them lengthy and more theoretical. Making lectures short and more

  • Using headings, subheadings easily emphasize the main points of each topic and break down the large topic into smaller ones which can easily be understood by students and keep the important points in mind.

  • Keeping lectures short is usually easy to digest and helps in the long term rather than giving all information in a single lecture.

3. Use of animated videos

Explaining topics with the help of animated videos is generally found more interesting to students rather than using a full-of-text presentation. animated videos are not only fun but they are full of information and academic for better outcomes. Using animated funny videos for explaining topics attracts students and helps them to understand concepts more easily.

These are the following benefits of animated videos lectures:

  1. easy to understand and more interactive for students.

  2. students get to know the real-life examples of the content given to them.

  3. learning becomes smooth and interesting.

4. Motivating students by sharing real-life examples

Most of the students don't know the purpose of their learning. This usually doesn't let students give their best and work hard. so it is the responsibility of teachers to keep students motivated and get them to know the real purpose of their learning.

By telling stories that are relevant to real-life problems not only gives students clearer learning objectives and expectations but also emphasizes the importance of learning in their lives.

Conducting webinars and sessions by various experienced faculties and toppers usually give students a wide range about their learning objectives. by conducting webinars students get to know the various strategies to tackle the problems in their learning which results in a better outcome.

Students also get a chance to know the struggle to achieve their respective goals which usually boosts the confidence of students to stay motivated and focused on the goals which they wanted to achieve.
