Find other words to describe those actions (beat, blend, whip, whisk, etc.) and talk about the differences. Take another word from the poem (pop, fry, toss) and find synonyms in the same manner. • Compare: Compare “Mix a Pancake” with a picture book about pancakes and with a recipe for making pancakes.
