What is the Arctic Tundra
* The arctic is an extremely cold biome
#Average winter temperature: -34°
#Average summer temperature: 3-12° C
* Arctic tundra is located in the northern
hemisphere, it circles the north pole
and extends south to the boreal forest

* Some groups of people have lived there for
thousands of years
* The largest group of people in the Canadian
Arctic are the Inuit.
* The Inuit live along the coast and hunt seal,
caribou and whales, and fish

grasses, and 400 varieties of flowers
* Arctic plants have adapted to strong winds and
cold temperatures:
