About

We are an international family of  theocentric providers responding to “The Call to Comfort”. We are a support network of trainers, licensed practitioners, educators, pastoral counselors, psychologists, ministers, and pastors. Our mission is to provide services to Christians seeking mental health support. Additionally, we provide training for professional to enhance Christian Counseling competencies. Training opportunities include asynchronous self-paced courses and experiential intensives at various locations. Our vision is to equip Christian ministries with members who are competent to counsel and to support the professional development of counselors, counselor residents and graduate counseling students who are interested in the application of Christian Counseling.

Courses/Programs offered

event_available Micro Counseling Skills Self-paced course that includes foundational skills for the helping profession. Course content includes the five core counseling skills. Students are required to complete reading assignments, review a video, and complete an end of course test. Success is measured by 85% proficiency on the end of course evaluation.
event_available Foundations of Theocentric & Christian Counseling Students will be introduced to Theocentric principles and the integration of Christian theology into psychological principles and practices. Students are required to complete all readings, view video tapes and complete and end of course test. Success is measured by 85% competency level on the end of course evaluation. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in an intensive practicum. However this experience is not required to successfully complete the course.
event_available Ethics and Legislative Compliance in Mental Health Counseling This course is an examination of ethical codes that govern the mental health profession. It will also provide an overview of major legislative issues and will guide participants in examining state regulations. Success is measured by 85% performance rate on the end of course test.
event_available Integrative Theoretical Practices in Clinical Mental Health Counseling This course will examine major worldviews and the influence on the mental health profession. The course will provide an overview of traditional theoretical frameworks and theocentric philosophical principles. Success is measured by 85% performance rate on the end of course test.
