About

Did you know that you can do much more with the DFLC than just meet your foreign language requirement? Many of our courses fulfill UCORE designations (HUM, DIVR, ARTS, CAPS) and can add a valuable dimension to your major field of study. In addition, our Spanish Language Minor is relatively easy to achieve, requiring only 5 additional courses beyond your basic FL requirement. Many fields are enhanced by even moderate fluency in Spanish – law enforcement, healthcare, marketing, social services, public policy, legal services, hospitality, to name a few – making you a superior candidate in a competitive job market.

Questions about how the DFLC can enrich your experience at WSU Vancouver? Email Cassandra Gulam, Program Leader, at casgulam@wsu.edu.

Whether you are interested in achieving proficiency in Spanish, learning more about the modern Chinese way of life, discovering the classics of French film, or simply improving your intercultural competency … the DFLC has a course for you!
