About

Sunny Shah is the founder of Wholesome Learning. His desire to make a significant difference to the lives of his students can be traced back to a childhood filled with confidence-sapping bullying and academic disappointment. It was only following discussions with two professors in college that Sunny began to consider his own mindset, to create curiosity in his learning, and ultimately, change his approach forever.

event_available English Our Wholesome English Program has been designed to help your child cultivate a “Growth Mindset” while inciting curiosity within the learning process. Our lessons focus on developing reading comprehension, practicing the writing process, and engaging through collaborative group work. Our students also set their SMART Goals to improve their motivation and confidence in the pursuit of growth. In order to grow your child’s English skills, we focus on all areas of English Language Arts, such as grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension strategies, & writing, through our comprehensive cycle topics.
event_available Math The old school model of education that we all grew up with of passively memorizing facts and being tested on them is long gone. Our Wholesome Math program prepares your child for their future by fostering the development of a “Growth Mindset” while incorporating “Project Based Learning”. Project Based Learning (PBL) is 21st Century educational model based on scientific research. The PBL process combines the application of mathematics content with 21st century skills such as goal setting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
