Tutor on Target

For the past twelve years I have been based in Bournemouth and I worked in a number of primary schools in the area and in London both as supply and permanent teacher. During my teaching career I worked with most year groups and I have gained an extensive knowledge of the New National Curriculum and methods for its successful delivery. Having taught in Year 2 and Year 6, I familiarised myself with SATs preparation for both year groups and pupils in my care achieved excellent results in English, reading and maths.

 I also have experience working with SEN children, including those with ADHD, Aspergers, Autism & Dyslexia.

In 2019, I started to work as private tutor of children from Reception to Year 8 and I personally found it extremely rewarding, particularly for the positive relationships created with all individual pupils and their families. I was able to enable all children to achieve tangible academic progress and self-belief.
