Tutoring Services

I absolutely love the work I do.  I feel so blessed to be able to work one-on-one with the children and help them learn.  I get to hear their stories.  I feel I am able to talk to their parents, to listen to their heartaches and their dreams for their child in a way that is just not possible for a regular classroom teacher. I understand how hard it is for a student with reading and learning difficulties and how learning can be such a huge struggle for them. 

I am passionate about teaching these children and seeing them learn and grow.  

There are moments in our lives that are turning points, at which time the direction of our lives change, and for me, 2014 was one such time.  

As a classroom teacher of many years' experience, I had taken 6 months combined long service leave and leave without pay, and my husband and I had travelled Australia in our trusty old and faithful caravan.  On our journey we met people from all over this wonderful land, people whom we would never have met in normal circumstances, and upon  our return, I knew I was not the same person who had left Perth six months earlier.  

In July 2018 I was honoured to be chosen as the Ronald Macdonald Learning Program, WA, Tutor of the Month.
