Courses/Programs offered
event_available Phonics Sight Words
Our Phonics Program is designed to teach students how to read and write. Phonics helps children to identify different sounds that distinguish one word from another. Children then utilize these phonics to know which letters to use when writing words and therefore become better writers.
event_available Reading
TC Reading aims to develop critical thinking skills in students of all ages. Reading comprehension skills impact every aspect of your students’ education. Comprehension issues can make homework harder, affect self-esteem, and create disengaged students. Our TC Reading will help develop your students’ fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills so they can become lifelong learners. Our program will help eliminate the stresses of reading while preparing students for future classroom and testing success.
event_available Math
Our tutors break complex math concepts into manageable pieces. Students master one piece at a time with the help of step-by-step instruction, building a solid foundation upon which each subsequent unit is built. This combination of specific skill instruction and ongoing assessment is the key to shaping, enriching, and maintaining math proficiency for students of all ability levels.
event_available Writing
Using Tutoring Club’s unique writing curriculum, our tutors meet your student where they are with a mix of exercises dedicated to improving baseline knowledge of different grammar, punctuation, and structural principles. Our tutors will then immerse your student in the process of writing and help them to find their active voice in a variety of writing styles that — depending on age — range from descriptive, informative, and narrative to expository, research-based, and persuasive/argumentative.

AP Exams, the SAT, and the ACT can be a big deal. With stakes so high, targeted preparation is essential for even the brightest student. At Tutoring Club, we are not a one-size-fits-all, classroom-style prep program that uses a large whiteboard and has 20+ students absorbing information at a singular speed. Instead, we believe in designing prep for each student around their unique abilities, strengths, and opportunities for improvement.
