As a school student myself,  I was not a natural academic.  Although I enjoyed Art and crafts, I struggled with other subjects, especially Maths, and left school with a poor grade. At school I often became distracted during Maths lessons and found it difficult to keep up with the fast pace of learning.  Also, I often felt inhibited to ask questions for fear of appearing stupid in front of my classmates.  This led to a lack of confidence in my Maths abilities and achieving low scores in tests.
