Currently I work as a head of sixth form teaching Business and Economics at a successful secondary school.

I have been working as a teacher for 17 years and have excellent results at GCSE, BTEC and A level. This success is due to my teaching style as I like to get to know my students and to understand their learning style. I can then adapt my teaching to suit the needs of my students, to ensure my students make the necessary progress to achieve their full potential. Student and parent trust is crucial when tutoring and I ensure this embedded so students have the confidence to ask me any questions they wish including consolidating and learning new knowledge.

Currently I am an examiner for Edexcel exam board for GCSE Business as well as BTEC level 3 Business. I have been an examiner for 3 years giving me a real insight into what examiners are looking for in students answers.
