Who We Are

At Still I Rise Education Services® we provide private, individualized tutoring for students enrolled in grades 6 through 12. Our service is meant to supplement a student’s formal education by relying on the knowledge of elite content experts. We specialize in high level STEM subjects (like Calculus, Engineering, Physics, and Micro-biology) as well as premium English Language Arts skills (like college essay writing, literary analysis, rhetorical analysis, and advanced reading comprehension). Essentially, our services are designed to optimize the skills that American colleges and universities value most.

Still I Rise Education Services® was founded in 2020 to serve students in the DC/MD/VA region as well as to supplement the educational deficiencies of distance learning. Our mission is to help students achieve academic success through shared discovery. We take pride in creating customized learning programs tailored to fit each student’s individual learning needs. We cultivate a strong sense of confidence and curiosity in all of our students, so the learning does not stop, even when the tutoring does.

Still I Rise Education Services® only hires tutors with graduate level education who have prior teaching experience at either the secondary or post-secondary level. We provide a 60-minute one-on-one experience where your student can be tutored in numerous high-level subjects by professional educators and college instructors. We give all students the personal attention that they need with the experienced tutors that they deserve. Furthermore, before any transaction is finalized, we offer a complimentary consultation where the student’s goals are clearly established. In addition, to ensure the safety of your student, all of our tutors undergo a thorough background check.
