Signature Tuition

Life is about making, and being given, the best chances possible!

I’ve always been extremely passionate about making a difference to the life-opportunities of our young people.

With an Honours degree from the University of Leeds in 2004, followed by a teaching qualification at Durham University in 2005, I went on to a successful teaching career spanning over a decade in the classroom, working with students aged 11-18, helping them to realise their potential and achieve their educational goals. This was my place! Or so I thought...
 

With evidence suggesting that private tuition can add up to five months' worth of progress on average(and that really is the tip of the iceberg), and as an educator with a genuine passion for ensuring that all students get the very best results possible, leaving the classroom to become a full-time professional tutor felt necessary. With that in mind, I established Signature Tuition!
 

At the absolute core of my work is the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their best,  supporting personal growth in a way that recognises each student's signature style of learning. In other words: a way that works for them. I believe very strongly that a ‘one size fits all’ approach never works and as a result, my students' results continue to make me incredibly proud of the work we do together. 
 

I endeavour to ensure that all of my lessons create a flexible learning experience, recognising that this is as different for every individual as their own personal signatures.
