Dr Seyed Sadr holds a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering and has over 20 years of experience across academia, research, industry and education. He is an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Exeter and Co-founder & Director of Chamberlains Aqua and Energy Systems Limited (CAESL), where he leads and contributes to innovative engineering and sustainability projects.
Alongside his academic and professional career, Dr Seyed has extensive experience in teaching, tutoring and mentoring students at different levels. He has supervised and supported more than 40 university students with dissertations and research projects and was nominated for Best Lecturer and Best Student Supervisor at the University of Exeter in 2017.
His tutoring approach focuses on making complex concepts clear and practical, building students’ confidence and developing strong problem-solving and independent learning skills. He also draws on his academic and industry experience to support students with their educational development, university choices and future career pathways.
