Really Personalizing Education

For far too long, public schools have relied on grouping children without thinking about individual academic and social needs. This is the problem we see with Common Core State Standards. Instead, we need public schools that look more closely and teach to the individual needs and strengths of all children. To carry this out, we need professional teachers and school administrators who study and understand the development of children. And the curriculum should involve a variety of approaches and resources.

There are real concerns about the loss of SPED services. We've come too far to let this happen. Please post about all areas involving special ed.
