Primus Education was setup by highly qualified and senior members of the teaching profession. We strongly believe that our tuition services are only needed because of the shortcomings and inconsistencies of the education system. As controversial as this may be, our ideal would be to not exist and for our services to be redundant. However, in the absence of such an ideal, we have designed a system of support to help your child succeed. With over 15 years of experience, working with children and young adults, we fully appreciate the variety of reasons why parents consider tuition for their children. Being the specialists in our field, we also recognise the importance of only providing tuition through fully qualified teachers. It is through careful consideration to such detail that we have developed our comprehensive tuition programmes, with one aim only – to help equip young minds with the skills and knowledge to succeed.

GCSE Sciences GCSE study in the sciences provides the foundations for understanding the material world. Scientific understanding is changing our lives and is vital to the world’s future prosperity, and all students are required to study essential aspects of the knowledge, methods, processes and uses of science. 11+ Entrance Exams To attend grammar schools, children must pass the entrance exams, commonly referred to as the ‘11-plus’. Areas which are tested in these exams include Verbal Reasoning, Maths and Non-verbal reasoning. Our rigorous 11-plus curriculum is designed to develop student knowledge in these areas as well as enhancing exam technique. We offer parents detailed guidance and support throughout providing children every opportunity to pass these exams.

Key Stage 2 SATs SATs are Standardised Assessment Tests administered by primary schools in England to children in Year 6 to check their educational progress. Most secondary schools look at Year 6 SATs results as part of the decision process when grouping students into sets or streams.
