Prestige Prep, founded in 2002, is one of NYC's leading supplemental educational services and tutoring centers. Dedicated to creating better learners, Prestige began as an organization focused primarily on academic and test-prep tutoring. Today, while we excel in academic teaching and in preparing our students to succeed on standardized tests, we also pride ourselves as mentors and role models for our students. For more than 18 years, we have been supporting, teaching, and mentoring students on their educational goals and academic needs. Our overall educational objective, and our standardized test-prep goal, is to prepare students for every facet of their exams, while reducing anxiety, increasing stamina, and building emotional strength. Prestige challenges students to push themselves, while building their confidence and sense of self.

event_available Academic Tutoring Doing well in school takes more than knowing the material. It takes organization and study skills. It takes confidence. Students today must know how to manage their time and study effectively to avoid falling behind. Our tutors thoroughly cover each topic your child needs for their exam. But that is only the beginning. Our tutors also handle the emotional and psychological sides of taking an exam. This means giving your child a system to follow when facing difficult or confusing questions, and it means exercises to build stamina and emotional strength. If there’s anxiety, we help students reframe it in a way that helps them excel.
event_available Standardized Tests The most important thing to know about test preparation is that excelling on an exam takes more than just knowing the material, just like excelling at public speaking takes more than just knowing the right words. Standardized tests and AP exams require test-taking skills, stamina, organization, and emotional strength as well knowledge of the material. And so our process teaches students all of these skills. All of our tutoring is one-on-one. This approach eliminates the social pressures that often hold students back from admitting confusion or difficulty.
