First and foremost, I am a mother and a teacher who wants to do what is best for kids. My years of classroom experience showed me firsthand just how much students benefit from a whole child approach. I have hand selected a group of like-minded professionals I feel confident sending into your homes to work with your children. Not only do Peak instructors take a personal approach and make their students feel safe and supported, but they also engage and challenge, enabling students to reach their personal peak.

Courses/Programs offered

event_available ACADEMIC TUTORING & EVALUATIONS We provide two main services for academic support: Academic Tutoring and Educational Evaluations. Whether it be for remedial support, homework help or enrichment, we have instructors to meet the tutoring needs of your child in all academic areas, elementary through AP. We also offer specialized reading programs through Orton-Gillingham and the Barton Reading and Spelling Program.
event_available EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONS SUPPORT We provide two services to help students build cognitive executive functioning skills. The first is Integrative Academic & Executive Functions Tutoring. This is ideal for students who need both academic and executive functions support and do well with repetition and scaffolding. Instructors help students create an organizational system to complete homework on time, manage and prioritize daily/monthly homework, plan ahead for long-term projects and prepare for required exams. Instructors can also incorporate self-regulation strategies if desired.
event_available SELF-REGULATION & EXPRESSION With our whole child philosophy, it is important for us to provide opportunities for students to develop skills related to self-regulation and self-expression. Our certified yoga and art instructors craft personalized, thematic lessons that are both fun and supportive. We also provide Integrative Academic & Mindfulness Tutoring for students who can benefit from learning self-regulation and stress management techniques in addition to receiving academic support. Instructors begin each session with a mindfulness tool and weave in other self-regulation strategies during academic support time as beneficial for the student. Tools include breathing activities, visualization, origami, mindful listening and more.
