Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary School

Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary school is a public elementary school located in Athens, GA serving students in grades PK to 5th. OAES was founded in 1969. We moved into a brand new school building in 2018. We provide support services for special education, English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and gifted (Spectrum) students. We also have a Dual Language Immersion program that provides instruction in English and Spanish in grades PK-4th.
