About

Established in 1982, Myrtle Grove Christian School is a fully accredited Christian school serving students from preschool to 8th grade. MGCS is affiliated with Myrtle Grove Evangelical Presbyterian Church but is comprised of students and faculty from over 50 churches in the Wilmington area. Over the years we have earned a reputation for a rigorous academic program as well as a spiritual climate that is warm, vibrant and balanced. Smaller class sizes help us maintain high standards and a positive classroom environment.

Courses/Programs offered

event_available MGCS Preschool Program Our Christian preschool program is designed to help children grow mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually: to empower them to have an abundant life.
event_available Elementary School Our Christian elementary school curriculum supports our mission of educating students “by exposing them to Biblical principles as a framework for all that is taught.”
event_available Middle School Our Christian Middle School presents opportunities for our students to grow academically, spiritually, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Leadership skills are emphasized throughout the year. Eighth graders, assisted by other Middle School members and our faculty build teams that are composed of K-8 students. These “Tribes” will work together in small groups to grow and encourage one another spiritually, physically and emotionally as they participate in Tribe Chapels, Field Days, mission projects and other such activities during the year.
