We offer programs in English and in Spanish for kids aged 3 to 17. Mighty Writers is distributing food and essential needs to families that have been affected by the pandemic. If you love to write and want to share that love with young people, become a Mighty volunteer. At Mighty Writers, we teach kids to think clearly and write with clarity. All our programs are free to the communities we serve.

eventWorkshops At Mighty Writers, we teach kids to think clearly so they can write with clarity. As always, all workshops are free.
eventOne-to-One Program The Mighty Writers One-to-One Program connects students in grades 4 through 12 with individual volunteer mentors and tutors. Mighty Writers pairs each student with a mentor by getting to know the student’s personality, interests, goals (especially in reading and writing) and schedule. Our mentors have different areas of expertise and are cleared to work with children.

eventFood Distribution Since the start of the coronavirus outbreak, Mighty Writers has been providing meals and groceries to families in need. We'll continue to distribute food and essential needs to families at our MW locations as well as at three PHA centers.
