Prof. Mayssoon Dashash is a Professor at Damascus University in Syria. She is also the Director of the Medical Education Program at the Syrian Virtual University, Damascus, Syria.
Prof. Dashash completed her PhD from the University of Manchester, UK in 2005 and her membership from the Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS), UK in 2008. She also has a specialization in Medical Education from the University of Dundee, UK in 2020.
Prof. Dashash was an honorary staff at the University of Manchester (2004-2008) and the director of the Directorate of Evaluation and Accreditation in the Ministry of Higher Education (2011-2021). She was also the founding General Director of the Centre of Measurement and Evaluation of Higher Education in Syria (2013- 2021).
Prof. Dashash has several international publications in medical education, curriculum planning, measurement and evaluation, E-learning, quality assurance and accreditation.
