About

I would definitely recommend KSOL to everyone for their child's 11+ practice. My daughter joined 3 months revision course before the test. She improved her confidence and speed very quickly. Feedback and support were phenomenal. We also tried Mock tests which came back with excellent feedback and advice for future progress. My daughter gained entry to one of our favourite and local grammar schools. Now I've enrolled my second daughter for online tutoring and mock test.

Courses/Programs offered

event_available Comprehension The 11+ English Comprehension section of the grammar school entrance exam can vary across the country. However, 11plus CEM (Centre for evaluation and monitoring) and GL Assessment often include a fiction or non-fiction comprehension text, followed by a series of multiple choice questions.
event_available Non-verbal reasoning Non-verbal reasoning (NVR) is an 11 plus subject which is not typically covered within the school curriculum. Therefore, children may find this topic challenging to begin with. The key here is to ensure your child practices regularly, learning the correct methods of how to approach each question.
event_available English
event_available 11 plus The 11 plus Maths topics will cover core skills taught throughout Key Stage 2, including a large majority of National Curriculum guidelines for Year 6. Therefore, there may be topic areas in the 11 plus exam that children may not have been taught in great detail at primary school, or may not yet have come across before when revising.
event_available verbal reasoning The 11 plus verbal reasoning section of the grammar school entrance exam is dedicated to testing a child's vocabulary, reading and code-breaking skills. Therefore, most of the questions require an aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking.
