JoelG Tutoring

Born in 1998, I grew up in Torquay, Devon, with my mother and sister. There I studied for my GCSEs at Torquay Boys' Grammar School where I achieved 12 A/A** grades including A*s in Maths, Physics and Chemistry and an A** in Further Maths. After this I moved to Totnes and started my A-levels at Churston Ferrers Grammar School. During this time I was active in assisting fellow students and started helping other friends/their children in their studies as well. I left Churston in 2017 with A*s in A-level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry and immediately looked to start tutoring professionally. It didn't take long before word of mouth had spread widely enough for me to quit my part-time catering job and focus my attention on private tuition. In 2021, I completed my BSc Degree in Mathematics, achieving a First Class Honours, which has enabled me to further expand my business and offer help to an even wider range of struggling and high potential students.
