In 1990, Marty Moore was looking for opportunities to volunteer, but working as a young real estate broker with limited free time made it difficult to find community-based organizations that could use his help. In 1993, Marty gathered some friends and started Make A Difference, an organization with the mission to meet critical community needs while creating volunteer opportunities especially designed for working people. Since then, we have experienced tremendous growth and are now HandsOn Greater Phoenix, the Valley's premier volunteer organization.

eventVETERAN ASSISTANCE PROGRAM We mobilize volunteer teams to support local veterans through our Veteran Assistance Program. With the help of corporate partners like Home Depot, Wells Fargo, Intel, and others, we improve Valley veterans' homes and lives. Are you a veteran homeowner in need of home improvements? Submit an application! Most renovation projects take place September 11 - November 11, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

eventPartnership We partner with hundreds of nonprofit organizations, under-resourced schools, government offices, and neighborhoods each year! We manage meaningful service opportunities to connect motivated individuals, groups, and businesses with your organization.
