We develop our learning environment based on a neurocognitive approach, and each aspect of our methodology is rooted in the needs of challenged learners. Some of these techniques can be very subtle, such as using larger than average note pads and writing fewer words on them, allowing for more white space and increasing focus. All students, regardless of individual challenges, work on logic puzzles to build inductive and deductive reasoning, skills that are fundamental to life.
