Our program at Creative Minds Preschool is based on the philosophy that all children are exceptional and unique individuals. We understand these are the most important years in a child’s development. We believe that children learn best through active participation with their environment and with other people. Therefore, we support a hands-on approach to learning for all ages. Teachers act as facilitators by providing a variety of opportunities and experiences to promote learning and growth in all areas; language, cognitive, emotional, social and physical development.

Courses/Programs offered

Toddler The toddler years are a time for exploring. They are beginning to walk and learn about their environment . The teachers act as facilitators throughout the day, helping them learn new words and explore all the amazing objects around them. The teachers constantly encourage the children to interact with one another through free play and structured activities.

Young Preschool At this age children are starting to become more independent and more curious. They are learning how to play in group settings, and the teachers act as leaders in helping build their social skills as well as positive peer relations. They participate in a circle time where they sing songs and read stories, and an art time where they are allowed to explore with different materials, as well as many other developmentally appropriate activities.

Preschool As children begin their preschool years they change in many ways. Their social and emotional development, language, fine and gross motor, and cognitive skills improve on a daily basis and we, as providers, must create opportunities of fun learning. We strive to help expand their knowledge and create a learning environment that will benefit them. We help to elaborate on their ideas and encourage them to explore their imagination. It is so important to set the tone during the early years, for school years to come

Pre-kindergarten The Pre-kindergarten year is very crucial to a child's school journey. We know that there are many skills a child must have upon entering Kindergarten and our experienced staff helps promote these skills. We do understand that children learn best by initiating their own activities and exploring all the opportunities a classroom has to offer, so we encourage them to learn in their own personalized ways. Our teachers have prepared activities for the children to take home and do with their family and we encourage all children to read with their families when possible.

School Agers During the school year, we will pick your child up from school (limited locations) and they will spend the afternoon at our center. We have experienced teachers available to help your child with their home work. Their daily schedule will include outdoor time (weather permitting), free choice activities, art time, and many other age appropriate activities. We will also be available on teacher workdays, school vacations, and early release.

Infants At Creative Minds Preschool, we understand that these first few months are crucial to a child’s brain development and that is why our teachers make sure every child receives individualized attention throughout the day. The teachers spend the day talking, singing and reading to the infants along with taking care of their daily routines.
