Accountants and finance professionals assemble and analyze, process, and communicate essential information about financial operations.

CFCC’s Associate in Applied Science degree program will emphasize graphic design, advertising, illustration, and digital and multimedia preparation of printed and electronic promotional materials.

The Associate in Science (AS) degree requires 60-61 credit hours. It allows students to take the first two years of their baccalaureate degree at CFCC and enables them to transfer to one of the 16 institutions in the University of North Carolina System with junior status. An AS degree provides a strong foundation with a heavy emphasis on math and science courses for students interested in careers in architecture, agriculture, biology, chemistry, computer science, dentistry, forestry, mathematics, medicine, pharmacy, textiles and more.

The Associate in Arts (AA) degree requires 60-61 credit hours. It’s the broadest degree CFCC offers, giving students the opportunity to take a wide variety of required transferable courses appropriate to all fields. It’s ideal for students who are undecided on a future major. Every credit a student earns at CFCC in the Associate of Arts program will count toward their degree at any one of the 16 institutions in the UNC System. Students who successfully complete an AA degree will be able to transfer to a receiving school as a junior.
