At Best in Class, our mission is twofold:build better teachers; build successful students. Education is the door to the future. event_available Reading and Writing We offer a comprehensive English program focused on critical thinking, reading and writing skills, vocabulary, and standard English grammar. In today's globalized world, communication and analytical thinking are central to success. That's why we emphasize the application of skills rather than rote memorization. Plus, as your kid gets smarter, our material gets harder, so there's always just the right amount of challenge. Our small class sizes and college-educated instructors also help ensure that your child will get the most out of their weekly 60-75 minute classes. We group students at similar levels and schedule regular weekly classes so that students get to know their teacher and classmates, which makes for a fun and stimulating learning environment.
event_available Private Tutoring Need help with school homework? No problem. Need to prepare for a big exam? We've got your back. Want lessons custom designed just for you? You've got it. With private tutoring, you call the shots. Our private tutoring offers students the most individualized instruction possible. If you've got a big test on the horizon, private tutoring is especially beneficial. We offer specially designed test-preparation modules through private tutoring for a wide array of exams, including the SAT, AP tests, TOEFL, ISEE, SSAT, ITBS, and CogAT. We have tutors available for almost any academic subject you can imagine. You can also focus on specific skills, like essay writing. You can bring in homework or projects you already have for instructional guidance or your tutor can create lessons from scratch to suit your needs.
event_available Mathematics With our math program, students don't just master a foundation of mathematical concepts—they also apply them to real-world situations through a combination of hands-on classroom learning, supplemental homework, and weekly tests. We want students to know why they're learning what they're learning. No matter their level, we help them develop the confidence to think critically about problem-solving and apply their learning to everyday life. Plus, as your kid gets smarter, our material gets harder, so there's always just the right amount of challenge. event_available SAT/ACT Test Prep Clear instruction and consistent practice are the cornerstones of a successful SAT/ACT class. Our small group SAT/ACT course offers the best of both: 28 hours of active, in-class teaching in addition to online engagement outside of the classroom. Our blended format allows us to assess, instruct, and track each student’s progress in the core SAT/ACT subjects. Best in Class’s rigorous SAT/ACT class will give your student the best chance of success on test day and in the college application process. Classes can be taken in a private-lesson format (one-on-one or with two students per instructor) or in a group-lesson format with 4 to 15 students.
