Over my time at the University of Wisconsin I have had extensive experience in teaching a wide variety of philosophy courses. As a graduate student I served as a teaching assistant for multiple Introduction to Philosophy courses as well as a range of ethics courses. I have also had the opportunity to construct and lecturer for my own courses including Introduction to Ethics, Contemporary Moral Issues, and Philosophy of Sport. I am incredibly passionate about teaching and have found my time in the classroom to be one of the most rewarding and satisfying aspects of my time as a graduate student. I work hard to ensure that not only are my students given the resources that they need to successfully understand often complex philosophical ideas but also that they feel supported and encouraged to explore various ideas and perspectives that might be new or unfamiliar to them.
