No matter what age we are, learning another language can be an enjoyable experience. If you are located in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, you have the opportunity to study English with a native speaker in Richmond. Currently, I am a student at the University of British Columbia studying Linguistics, English language and literature and other languages of the world, including French, Mandarin, Korean, Indonesian and ASL. I have developed a love of language and the art of teaching.

My classroom is supplied with professional desks and chairs for up to eight students, a large whiteboard and a library for in-class reading. There is WiFi access for a multimedia approach as well.

My classes offer a comfortable environment with focused attention on your personal needs as a student. One-on-one lessons are available, as well as classes for groups of two or more.

My fees for a one-on-one class are as follows:

1 hour ................................ $25.00

1 hour 30 minutes................ $30.00

2 hours ............................... $40.00

For a more intensive experience, I host day programs from 10:00am-2:00pm during weekdays:

Grammar and writing class: 10:00am-12:00pm

Lunch Break - Complementary tea provided!

Conversation class: 12:30pm-2:00pm

Many of my students enjoy using the Interchange and Passages Student's Books as their main textbooks. These provide easy transitions between ESL levels as we progress.

Along with the exercises provided in the texts I prepare ample supplemental material to keep my students engaged and enthusiastic about learning English.
