The direct beneficiaries of Angelo State’s Title V projects are the university’s undergraduate students, particularly those of Hispanic descent. Secondary beneficiaries include faculty and staff, whose training and professional development will directly impact the students. Students of all racial and ethnic groups are encouraged to utilize the programs and services, and no students will be turned away because of their racial or ethnic origin.
NOTE: The Title V Program is NOT a scholarship or fellowship program for individuals or for research. The program is designed to support institutions of higher education that are HSIs.
This project is funded in whole by a $3.2 million grant from the U.S Department of Education under the Developing Hispanic Serving Institutions Program (Title V).
The purpose of this project is to improve retention and graduation rates, particularly among Hispanic Students.
