Amanda Giordano

Amanda is an undergraduate student at Rice University, where she is studying Integrative Biology and Environmental Science as a pre-health student. She graduated from high school as valedictorian, earning several awards, including the AP Scholar with Distinction Award, Scholar-Athlete Award, President’s Education Award, and Outstanding Achievement in Science. At Rice University, she is a five-time recipient of the President’s Honor Roll and a winner of the 2024 Doerr Institute Leadership Scholarship for her successful establishment and management of an international health club, VAW Global Health Alliances. Amanda has been privately tutoring a wide range of AP and STEM subjects for over 4 years, working effectively with students of all ages and backgrounds. Amanda establishes a strong rapport with her students and enjoys crafting detailed lesson plans that target each student's learning style.
