I am offering tutoring services to any child, adult or senior at any education level (University, College, High School, Grade School, Not in School) who needs help with a wide variety of subjects

Other Information

- Rate is $35/hour.

-Able to meet with students at my home office in Montague, at the client's home, or at any public location chosen by the client.

- Travel cost is $0.40/km if not meeting at my home office.
-Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in English.

-Over 15 years experience teaching children and adults with Autism as well as other learning disabilities.

- Tutored at UPEI and was a tutor for the ACE program while I attended UPEI.

(Note: The ACE program exists to help teach adults with special needs and/or learning disabilities in multiple ways, but I helped by both tutoring students through study sessions and by taking notes for others in classes I was already participating in.)

Maths Bring Excitement Back to Math Do you fall asleep in math class? Do you find math to be a useless skill that you will never need to use? That is a common attitude towards mathematics nowadays. However, the truth is that math is used in everything, especially if you want to do something with computers. I have found that the biggest problem student's are facing with math is an overwhelming sense of boredom and/or inability to see what the use of math is. I strive to make math fun, interactive, and easy to follow by individualizing the program for each studen

University/College Level Tutoring Just What You Need Are you a student at College or University and are wanting just a little extra support to help you out with your classes? Do you need help studying for those midterm or final exams? Amalia's Tutoring can help you! I offer one-on-one tutoring to students for any subject. Just let me know what you need, and I'll find the best fit for you.

Writing Expert Service Are you having trouble trying to make your paper sound professional or just getting your words onto the paper? I can help! I offer great tips and tricks to learn how to edit a paper yourself, how to get started with a paper, and how to make paper writing a bit more fun!

Editing Attention To Detail Do you feel that you could use a little bit of an edge when finalizing that paper for your College or University course, or even for your work paper? Amalia's Tutoring can help! I am available to go over any document in English and work with you to make sure it is grammatically correct and sounds the way you want it to! If after having an editing session, you want to learn how to do this yourself, you can also sign up for Writing Tutoring and be given tips and tricks to help you become a better writer.

Foundational Computer/Smartphone/Tablet Skills Do you know someone who wants to know more about how to use a computer, smartphone, or tablet? Intermediate Computer Skills Do you already know the basics about using a computer but want to become faster at doing those things? Amalia's Tutoring offers one-on-one guidance on the basic Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and Presentations to help you become more efficient in your use of these programs. Plus, if you need someone to look at a program and help you discover all of its features, I can help with that too!
