The Alliance Française Abu Dhabi is a non-profit organization opened to culture and civilizations. Alliance Française started its activity in 1974, it is presided over by Mr. Sultan Al Hajji and its board of directors is made up of individuals working on a voluntary basis.
Our main mission is the teaching of French language and cultural discovery of the Francophone world as a whole. Alliance Française Abu Dhabi is an ideal place of the French-Emirati dialogue, source of its blooming and allows the meeting of generations around leisure activities, conferences, concerts, exhibitions, festivals, reading and more!
Each year, we welcome students from public institutions, universities and the network of schools in Abu Dhabi … thus forming a community of learners from around the world, sharing knowledge of the French language and francophone cultures.
The Alliance Française Abu Dhabi and its branch located in Al Ain, operate as an association, with the French Embassy maintaining responsibility.
