Courses/Programs offered
event_available Undergraduate level
Tutoring in a full range of subjects on structural geology, tectonics and microtectonics. This includes: rheology, stress and strain, construction of stress-strain ellipsoids, outcrop contouring, analysis and interpretation of shear zones, ductile deformations, brittle-ductile deformation and brittle deformation structures, folding, structural cross-section construction, analysis, identification and chronological order of deformation events, microtectonics (field and microscope), stereographic projection (plotting and interpretation), faults and joints, strike slip systems, suture zones, structural mapping in polydeformed terrains. Thesis guidance and tutoring, research methodology techniques. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD).
event_available Master Degree
Research methodology (project outline), tutoring in different subjects on structural geology, tectonics and microtectonics. Construction of complex structural cross-sections, mapping deformation phases, chronological order of tectonic events, field work methodology, microtectonics (fieldwork and analysis of thin sections), oriented samples, correlation between macro and microstructures, construction of tectonic models, deformation textures under the microscope. Thesis reading and guidance. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD).
event_available PhD
Tutoring for PhD is the same as for MSc but to a more advance level. It includes doctoral thesis planning, thesis research methodology, construction of complex structural cross-sections, mapping deformation phases, chronological order of tectonic events, field work methodology, microtectonics (fieldwork planning, oriented samples, analysis of deformation textures under the microscope, analysis of deformation of rock forming minerals), correlation between macro and microstructures, construction of tectonic models, deformation textures under the microscope. Thesis reading and guidance. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD).
